About the Artist

For many years I’ve been fascinated by art and design and its history and development to the present day. I now live and work in rural North Yorkshire where I draw and paint a wide variety of subjects.  

I particularly enjoy drawing and painting animals and, as a child, was first inspired to pick up a paintbrush by my love of horses.  I regularly carry out commissions for pet portraits.  When I paint or draw a portrait I aim to capture the pet's character, as well as making an accurate representation of the animal.
